Characters that do not have shortcuts already can be given a shortcut of your choosing.On the menu bar choose "insert" Select the option for symbol, locate the symbol you
want to use under "fonts". Click on the symbol you want and then click on the button
that says "shortcut keys". Enter the key stroke you want to use then click OK.
